As our Company has only set SUN as the official event date and the compulsory day to attend, we are free to deicde among ourselves if we would want to come on all 3 days or exchange our tickets.
I have swap my SAT ticket with my colleague for another FRI ticket. We were there for the 2nd practice which starts at 9.30pm. The human traffic is heavily jammed and we are struck along the road for a very long time. Many people were putting their hands up to snapshot on what's happening ahead. A lot of visitors were complaining and the organiser were a little upset about the road arrangement. They are negotiating on opening up the road a little wider. Luckily, we have managed to squeeze through the crowd on time for the show.

We are sitting at the bay grandstand (Marina Bay floating platform), which has a fantastic city view. The sea breeze is cool and relaxing, as the river flows smooth along with the wind. There are two giant screens showing the live telecast.

The night scenery alone is attractive enough to keep me here – from the nicely lilted Singapore Flyer, the skyline of the business district, the Marina Bay waterfront, the light decorations and the esplanade.
