Back to the Sixities

We are on a mission to revive the 60’s with tradition games and street side hawker stall. The team has to source the food items, the games stalls and did the necessary set-up on the space to depict the good old times.

Even though most of us in the team were born 20 years later, we have arranged the popiah stall, the nonya kueh stall, the rice dumpling stall, the hokkien prawn mee stall, the dessert stall, the candy floss stall, the ice-cream stall and the kachang puteh stall that stir up the fond memories of many. As for the traditional games, we have rented 5 booth with games coupons for the rounds, and the prize coupons for redemption at the tikam-tikam reward.

The prize item up for grabs at the tikam-tikam booth includes the chocolate wafer bars, the gudi, the chess sets, the tin biscuits, the towels and some $5 notes.

Out of so many company activities, this event is the one, which I have enjoyed the most. It is very interactive; as there is never one time I had spent so much effort to print and cut the coupons, and wrapped so many popiahs (150-180 rolls together with Suan Ting) and had many opportunities to create fun. Even though tired, I hope to be able to do something similar again soon.
