JJ Yap's Special Age

In a daze this little cousin brother of mine is turning 21 years old. I didn’t do much for myself and my brother’s 21st birthday. We only have the usual celebration, but there is no chalet or any grand party. However, the most impression left behind is the extremely large birthday cake my colleagues had prepared for me.

Aunty Julia and Uncle Jimmy has spent so much time in the birthday preparation, extending the invitation to both sides of the family and his friends, making reservation in the Changi Beach Club and booked a Suite in the resort for this special day. The caterer was from the Club and the table setting resemblance our Company Annual Dinner with the buffet tables at the side.

I would always hope that birthday parties can be fun and exciting, but I did have the ideas on how to create the excitement. If rich enough, I would want to engage an event organizer to throw in the fun.
Our little brother is so excited that he is saying “Happy Birthday” to me while I am shaking his hand.

This resort is located right next to Changi Jetty and the view outside is extremely beautiful.

Our creative way of signing the Guestbook

With grandparents, aunties and uncles. Everyone has their own 21st birthday pic to remember.

Since the next day is Mother's Day, Aunty Julia has also prepared a cake for All Mothers
.
The thought itself is very sweet.

The kids are playing the game using my camera. They set the camera to self-timing; double 10 sec shot, and placed it on the rotating glass panel. Everyone is seated with their hands folded and the head resting on their arms. The glass panel was turned and we would laugh at each other to see who's caught on the next screen. After a short while, everyone was trying to hide their face or manipulating the rotating plate.

My mother walk past us and is asking why we are sitting further and further away from the crowd. The kids are explaining the game to her and invite her to join us. This time, everyone is diligently observing the rules. It is an interesting sight and a photo of Leeming and my mother is being taken.
